The prefecture of Haute Savoie has issued this weekend a weather alert to avalanches. With the warm weather, the rain and the wet snow, the avalanche risk will be higher. The prefecture said that avalanches can be triggered spontaneously, sometimes at fairly low altitudes. The avalanche risk is considered high. Radio Mont Blanc
