It is a bilateral decision between the French and Italian governments, applicable on the January 1st, 2011. 4.96% increase on the rates of the Mont Blanc Tunnel as the Frejus Tunnel. The argument for this rate increase, €30.60 for the way & return of a motorcycle; €45.90 for the same trip but by car; €61.20 for a vehicle type camper van (prices on 1st January 2011), is a financing of the "investment and the presence of teams on the ground 24h/24, for safety and quality of service."
