Charles Beigbeder and Jean Luc Rigaut ( the Mayor of Annecy) are going to attempt an ascent of Mont Blanc. The project managers of the "Olympic Games Annecy 2018" leave Paris today & should arrive in Chamonix this afternoon, Wednesday. They will be accompanied by a group of French snowboarders, amongst them the well-known (in snowboard circles, at least) De Le Rue brothers. And after two days of training in the Mont Blanc range, our Annecy 2018 bid representatives plan to climb Mont Blanc over the weekend, setting off from the Refuge des Cosmiques. Radio Mont Blanc
