Fortune-tellers and astrologers are still struggling to decide if next summer will be hot or not. But in the meantime, winter is here, and it is... cold. In the ski resorts of Haute-Savoie, snow has fallen in abundance the last few weeks. Due to the cold conditions, the snow hasn't melted and in some areas can still be found in large quantities. Now fresh snow-falls have been forecast for the end of the week and temperatures promise to stay cold. Last night, Météo France predicted a clear sky and a starry night, which helped to lower temperatures from -7 to -15 degrees in the Chamonix Valley. Please watch out for black ice & slippery surfaces around town
