Base jumper got stuck in a tree in Chamonix

Over the last few weeks, base jumpers with wing-suits can frequently be seen jumping off the Brevent spur into the Chamonix Valley, free-falling & flying down the Brevent colouir a few metres from the ground (lower than the trees...), then flaring & landing at the last minute in the Savoie field. Watch the Video below... Yesterday, one of them very nearly had a serious accident. The base jumper took off from the Brevent, and when he opened his chute, something happened that didn't allow him to manage his wing properly. He very fortunately got stuck in a tree, and the PGHM Chamonix then came along to bring him back down to safety. Incredibly, the base jumper had no injuries.
