The 3rd edition of the Mont Blanc Ski Challenge, the ski mountaineering race that starts the winter season, will be held on December 9th, 2012 (Sunday) on the Balme Le Tour ski area Chamonix.
All the big competitors will be there, but this race is also open to amateurs. In total there are 2 races, the individual race "Mont Blanc Ski Challenge " and the 'discovery' race "La Petite Corvée" by teams of 3.
The races have been changed a bit due to weather forecast, here are thenews:
- Mont Blanc Ski Challenge: 2 climbs with a total of 1100m D + and skating before the finish linel.
- La Petite Corvée: 410m D+
To join these races, be there on Sunday at 11:00 am in the parking lot of Le Tour ski resort. Price: 26 euros for the individual race and 53 euros for the team race.
