Last Saturday, January 13th 2013, the Community of Municipalities of the Valley of Chamonix Mont Blanc opened its Maison Médicale, located in the Chamonix hospital, at Route des Pelerins.
The team is now complete: 4 general doctors, 5 specialists (ophthalmologist, cardiologist, two gynecologists, psychiatrist), 3 nurses, 4 physiotherapists and two specialists in biology for medical laboratory. The Maison Médicale has a total of 18 members.
For the moment, the only 'problem' is the transports service from Chamonix town. The bus line number 2 "Les Houches - Les Praz", should be reinforced. The bus stop will also be improved in the spring. In the meantime, you can ask for a Transport Service, but you must ask this when you mark your appointment.
