In the resort of Les Houches, the Chamonix Valley has a new stadium for ski slalom competitions and other ski events. The Stadium is situated beside the chairlift Voza Prarion at Col de Voz.
The Chamonix valley has been waiting for this facility for years. The stadium was funded as a joint venture, between all the municipalities of the Chamonix Mont-Blanc valley.
Also new for 2013: The ski resort of Les Houches - Saint Gervais is able to produce artificial snow throughout the resort. This significant investment is an indispensable asset that ensures good snow cover on all pistes, until the end of each winter ski season.
