Géraldine Fasnacht, Wingsuit from Point Durier

The "Sportswoman of the extreme", Géraldine Fasnacht, began a brand new video project called "Free&Fast with Géraldine Fasnacht". The videos show the way in which she pushes the boundaries and sets new limits. Base jumping, wingsuit and snowboarding, are the most normal sports for Geraldine!

EpicTV presents the third episode of "Free&Fast with Géraldine Fasnacht" video project, this time above the Chamonix Valley.

Tuesday, 3 Sept 2013, Geraldine Fasnacht and Julien Meyer, two wingsuit fliers, took their flying squirrel costumes for another outstanding jump. The project is realized with the help of two climbers, Philippe Chillet and Julo. The group of four spent the night in the Cosmiques Hut. In the morning, they started climbing Mont Blanc du Tacul and the Mont-Maudit. Finally, they arrived at Point Durier, their departure area for a wingsuit flight of 3000 meters down to Chamonix.

Point Durier is located at 3997 meters above Chamonix. The finish line was settled in the Chamonix Valley. This flight was very technical: a 1000 meters vertical drop of only 2m30s with 5.6km distance. The two wingsuit flyers made sure that they had enough space to fly safely and enjoy the amazing experience of a wingsuit flight!
