After 2 months of pretty steady snowfalls, Chamonix has some extended sunshine to look forward to, starting today. The long term forecast has clear skies well into next week, which will be nice, although you never know what is going to happen.
At any rate, we have lots of snow at all levels around Chamonix, and though today had some wind with the arrival of the high pressure, it didn't affect everywhere, so there should be some good snow to find too. The last significant snowfall was on Monday, with around 20cm of fresh snow in the mountains.
