La Luge de Chamonix & Les Planards Leisure Park - Open
The Chamonix Luge is open all year round, from 2pm to 6pm. Previously, to enjoy La Luge, you needed to take a lift in order to get to the top. Now the Luge has been reconfigured to go both up and down the track, so there is no need for the lift.
What is Closed:
Brévent/Flégère/Balme: Closed until 14 juin
Les Houches: Closed until 14 juin
Grands Montets: Closed until 28 juin
Train de Mont Blanc: Closed until 14 juin
The lift to Mer de Glace is closed. The site can be reached by foot. It's a 15 minute walk for the unexperienced hikers and around 5 minutes for the fit ones.
Les Planards - Closed
By the end of the season, most of the cable cars undergo repairs and maintenance work. Also, domains and sites are closed for maintenance works. When the summer season starts, the domains and the sites are opened to the public.
