Two spectacular races closing the summer season of trail running in the Chamonix Mont-Blanc valley.
TAR is scheduled to start on Sunday 28th September 2014 and the P'tit TAR on Monday 29th September.
Five communes and four nature reserves, between Chamonix and Servoz are crossed by 800 participants!
They comprise experienced and inexperienced runners, of all nationalities, male and female.

It took only 21 days for the 2014 TAR to find its 600 participants!
The TAR is one of the qualifying races for the the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc. Each runner that finishes the race obtains two qualifying points.

For juniors and cadets, the P'tit TAR provides 200 places.

Initiated in 2006 by the CMBM (Chamonix Mont-Blanc Marathon), the Trail des Aiguilles Rouges become an attraction for all the big names in trail-running (Michel Rabat, Guillaume Peretti, etc) and a real satisfaction for all lovers of nature and mountains.
TAR 2014 and the P'tit TAR 2014 feature 19 nationalities running through the beautiful Aiguilles Rouges with people from Argentina, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Jamaica, Kenya, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States of America.
