TAR 2014 Results

The 8th edition of Trail d'Aiguilles Rouges, took place on Sunday, the 28th September 2014.

The course conditions were good, dry under foot with gentle breeze and temperatures in the mid teens. All races were dominated by French runners!

For the 2014 competition, the Club Marathon du Mont-Blanc (CMBM), respected as a good race organizer, implemented a monitoring and timing system allowing better tracking of the runners during the race.
The course for the TAR and the P'tit TAR may differ each year. So there are no course records.

  • The men's competition was won by Matthieu Brignon (24), finishing the course in 6 hours 20 minutes 41 seconds, beating his French compatriot, Cyril Cointre in second place, by a massive 25 minutes.
  • The women's race was won by Marlene Cugnet (25), followed 27 minutes later, by Lauriane Foulet-Moreau.  In 2013, Marlene Cugnet, from the Haute-Savoie came second.  This year's win, in a time of 8 hours 37 minutes 18 seconds was on a different route.

The 2014 P'tit TAR winners are: Bertrand Hamoumraui (men) and Laurie Renoton (women).
