The European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) is a biennial multi-sport event for youth athletes from the 48 member countries of the association of European Olympic Committees. The festival has a summer edition, held for the first time in Brussels in 1991, and a winter edition, which began two years later in Aosta. The 2015 competiton was held in Vorarlberg (Austria) and Vaduz (Liechtenstein).
Snowboarding - the greatest passion!
Merlin started his sports activity with the ski and went to the Snowski school from Les Houches. Very soon, the little boy, of just 7 years old, discovered the snowboarding and felt in love with it. In 2010, he has enrolled in the Chx Snowboard club and since then, everything goes great! Today, our Merlin is the Snowboardcross European champion and we are so proud of him!
As a sign of gratitude, Le Club Des Sports de Chamonix awarded him with the sports trophy for the Hope category.
An incredibly successful year for Marlin.
We all wish him good luck in the future!
