Transfers opening season for the Magnus Ligue!
While the most clubs from the Magnus League 2015/2016 have decided to change their head coach, Les Chamois considered essential to keep their trainer for the next year. Therefore, Stéphane Gros, a member of the Chamois family since 2009, has signed with Chamonix Hockey club for a seventh season and is ready to provide them stability and long-awaited success.
The contract extension of Stéphane Gros was just the first significant movement, among many other movements that could bring them victory in this new season. So, let's have a quick look at the new transfers.
The Chamois staff is pleased to announce the recruitment of a new goalkeeper! Henri Corentin Buysse, 27, the new acquisition, has already a rich experience, playing for Amiens, Morzine and Dijon. We are pretty sure he will bring real added value to the defensive sector of Stéphane Gros men.
The second transfer comes to support the defensive side of the team. The Chamois are pleased to announce the signing of Quebec defenseman Dominic Jalbert from Les Bruleurs de Loup de Grenoble. The new leader of the Chamois defense corps is an offensive back, reliable in both ways of the rink and with a very good skating.
We welcome Dominic and Henri but at the same time we have to say goodbye to 2 players who had a huge role in this team. Kyle Hardy is one of them, after two great seasons with the Chamois, he decided to try a new challenge in the 2nd division Swedish league. Another loss is Laurent Gras, the player has announced his career-ending. The Chamoniard has decided to hang up his skates at the age of 39 for a new direction of his career.
The Chamois staff thanks them for all their involvement and for the beautiful games they have shared. We wish them continued success in the future!
