The Chamonix Post Office, located in Place Balmat, has launched a renovation project for the modernization of its client reception area.
The Post Office proposes to develop a new concept "Post Office" that will offer customers the ability to perform quickly many simple operations, such as postage of letters and parcels and cash deposit and withdrawal services. Access to banking services will improve with the installation of multiple ATMs.
The Chamonix Post Office is closed to public from 12 noon, Saturday 15 October, until 2pm on Monday 28 November 2016.
After reopening, account managers will provide assistance and advice to all customers to help them to understand and use the new client services area. In particular, they will guide everyone in the discovery & handling of ATMs and the Mail/Parcel service.
A limited service is available during the works (from 15 October to 28 November 2016):

Withdrawal service, registered letters: local mailboxes;
M-F from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm - Saturday from 9am to 12pm.

Les Houches Post Office (10 Place Mairie)
All current account transactions at the front office (Postage, financial operations...);
M-F from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm - Saturday from 9am to 12pm.
Les Bossons Post Office (272 route des Bossons)
All current account transactions at the front office (Postage, financial operations...);
M-F from 1:30pm to 4:30pm - Saturday closed.
The Post Offices of Les Praz & Argentiere are open at their usual times.
