New Parsa chairlift in the Brévent ski area!
A new detachable 6-seater chairlift replaces the old fixed-grip Parsa chairlift this winter 2016/2017.
The value of the new Parsa lift is for skiers that take the Cornu lift within the summit just below the Aiguille of Charlanon: the discent of Le Cornu & Le Charlanon (red pistes) but also of Source, Combe Vioz and Blanchols (blue pistes) become much more attractive, because of the new Parsa lift provides a rapid return to the heart of the Brévent ski area with its restaurants, bars and facilities.
This high-tech detachable chairlift from Leitner ropeways, has an important role in this ski area, allowing skiers to return to Planpraz from the red pistes Le Cornu and Le Charlanon.
The new lift raises out of a new departure station, located near the departure station of Les Sources chairlift. The new Parsa lift crosses under the existing Cornu chairlift.
This ski lift will transport 2964 passengers per hour, offering more rapid return from the blue beginner runs and big advantage for the red run skiers.
The top station of the Parsa lift is in the same location, as the old Parsa 4-seater chairlift.
More than 5 million euros has been invested to optimize the comfort of customers. The project consists in the requalification of Combe des Vioz, within the Brévent-Flégère ski area, in the commune of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. It also includes the access to the black piste Les Nants from the new chairlift station, the creation of a variant of La Combe des Vioz, the dismantling of the "TK 2000" drag lift and removal of the Stade drag lift.

The new chairlift La Parsa will open on Saturday 17 December 2016.
