On Tuesday 21st March 2017, a new "Post Point" in Les Pèlerins was inaugurated by the mayor of Chamonix, Eric Fournier and the director of La Poste, David Margain, in the presence of the residents and the merchants.
The objective of the new "Post Point" is to boost the local trade in Les Pèlerins where more than 25% of the Chamonix population is living.
The Post Office of Les Bossons, closed because of its very low activity but in its place is the Tobacco Press of Les Pèlerins that will continue to offer the postal services. Indeed, the manager of the Tobacco, Maxime Marcotte signed an agreement with the management of the Network of La Poste in Savoie.
So, the new Post Point is located at 73 Place des Séracs inside the Tobacco Press "Le Quinze".
The new "Post Point" is open to the public 60 hours per week:
From Monday to Saturday: from 7:30am to 12:30pm and from 2:30pm to 7:30pm.
Customers can perform many postal operations:
Mail courier services & local services : postage of letters and parcels, cash deposit, withdrawal services, purchase of stamps, Chronopost etc.
