The 6th Arc’teryx Alpine Academy is to take place from Thursday 29th June to Sunday 2nd July 2017 in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc.
The popular alpine educational event aims to create a space where beginners and experts alike can gain alpine knowledge through top-notch clinics/workshops, experience sharing and respect for the alpine environment.
This year the Arc’teryx Alpine Academy offers 25 elite clinics/workshops for every skill and interest level: from alpine walking to performance ice climbing, ski-mountaineering essentials to alpine big walling, alpine bivvying to a photography masterclasses.
At the moment, most clinics are fully booked.

How to register to Arc’teryx Alpine Academy 2017:
One person per registration.
Group of friends: this year the grouping will happen in the morning together with the guides. This way, the Arc’teryx Alpine Academy give the opportunity to find the best groupings according to experience. If it is very important for you to stay together with your friend, please check with the guides in the morning.

Cancelation info: after registration, a 50% cancellation fee will be applied until 31st May, 2017

The alpine village location will transform Place Balmat and Place du Triangle into a real centre to share the alpine experience, open to all.
Lots of free events will be taking place during Arc'teryx Alpine Academy in and around Chamonix: outdoor sessions, movie nights, concerts, demonstrations and many other activities related to mountaineering. This year, the Academy will expand its playing field to include Les Grands Montets, L'Aiguille du Midi, Le Brévent and La Mer de Glace.
