Chamonix Lifts open/close during Autumn 2017

Grands Montets area:

• The Argentiere to Lognan cable car and the Grands Montets top cable close 10th September 2017 end of summer season.
• The Argentiere to Lognan cable car is scheduled to open 4 weekends in November 2017:

1. weekend 4-5 November 2017; 
2. weekend 11-12 November 2017;
3. weekend 18-19 November 2017;
4. weekend 25-26 November 2017.

• From 8th December to 22nd December 2017 partial opening, depending on snow conditions. From 23rd December, the cable car will remain open until 1st May 2018 in the evening.
• The Grands Montets top cable car will open for the winter 2017-18, from 23rd December until 1st May 2018 in the evening.

Brévent-Flégère:

• The Brevent to Planpraz cable car closes 17th September 2017 end of summer season. Is scheduled to open partially from 9th to 15th December 2017. The winter season continues from 16th December until 22nd April 2018, in the evening.
• The Flégère cable car is open until 17th September 2017 included. The cable car reopens again on 21st October 2017 until 10th November 2017. The cable car will open partially from 9th to 15th November 2017. The winter season continues with daily opening until 22 April 2018 in the evening.

The Balme sector:

• The Charamillon gondola and the Autannes chairlift close 17th September 2017 end of summer season. The Charamillon gondola and the Autannes chairlift open for winter 2017-18, from 9th December until 15th April 2018.
• The Vallorcine gondola is closed until the winter season. For winter 2017-18 the gondola opens from 9th December until 15th April 2018.

The Aiguille du Midi:

• The Aiguille du Midi cable car is open until 5th November 2017. Annual closure of the Aiguille du Midi cable car scheduled form 6th November until 15th December included.
• The cable car opens for winter 2017-18 from 16th December until 31 May 2018.
• The Panoramic Mont-Blanc Helbronner gondola is scheduled to close 24 September 2017 and will remain closed for this winter 2017-2018.

Les Houches:

• The Bellevue cable car cable car closes 24 September 2017 end of summer season. The Bellevue cable car cable car is scheduled to open from the 3rd weekend of November 2017, partial opening depending on snow conditions:

1. weekend 18-19 November 2017;
2. weekend 25-26 November 2017;
3. weekend 2-3 December 2017.

• The winter season continues from 9th to 22nd December 2017 with partial opening. From 23 December, opening of the cable car every day until 15th April 2018.

Montenvers-Mer de Glace site:

• The Montenvers train, the Gallery of Crystals and the Glaciorium are open.
• The Hotel and the restaurant of the Refuge also the Panoramique restaurant and the Bar of the Glaciers are open.
• The Temple of the Nature is closed for maintenance operations.

Attention: the Ice Cave & the gondola will be closed from 28th September in the evening until 20th December 2017 in the morning.

The Tramway du Mont-Blanc:

• The tramway is closed for the summer season. Reopening scheduled on 16th December 2017.
