"Waking Dream", the new film of the skier Sam Favret and the snowboarder Julien 'Pica' Herry is a 100% French production, shot in Chamonix, on the slopes of the Mont Blanc massif.
The Chamoniards Sam Favret and Julien Herry, tackle some of Chamonix's steepest slopes, looking for unforgettable lines in the high mountains.
This film will bring you in the heart of the steep riding. "Impressive, Exposed, Technical, are we really here right now? Or is it just a dream. Watch to find the answer".

“Sometimes we do not know whether we are in a dream or in reality, when our mind is on the edge of madness”. Sam Favret and Julien Herry are stuck when their desires for freedom push them away from the real world. Waking Dream is a film about the mountain and spirit of those who defy her, a journey into those heads that live only for her, without compromise and with no way out. Follow a local and a guide, a backcountry master and a steep skiing prodigy.
The premiere of the film took place on Sunday 8th October 2017, in Annecy, on the occasion of the High Five Festival dedicated to skiing and snowboarding.
The film will be exhibited throughout France for a month and a half before being released on internet.
The shooting team and the riders will be in Paris at the Palais des Congres on 13th November and in Bordeaux and Pau on 28th and 29th November 2017. All the dates where you can watch the full movie appear at the end of the trailer.
