According to Planet Grimpe, he has never been so close to winning the world title.

Romain Desgranges said that "At less than a week until the final stage, he must not seek to progress, or go even further. He just have to find the physical and mental freshness... so this last competition will be the most beautiful possible!".

According to Radio Mont-Blanc, to win the title, the climber licensed at the sports club of Chamonix must at least pass the qualifications for the final.

If he succeeds, he will be the first French man in 14 years to win the title.
