According to a press release of Thursday 10th May 2018 issued by Mont-Blanc Natural Resort:
As a result of the construction work necessary to create the “Beginners’ Area” at Lognan (Grands Montets ski area), please be informed that, due to the presence of the heavy construction vehicles, access is strictly forbidden on the “Pierre à Ric” trail & the access trail “Lognan – Plan Joran”.
- The traffic will be prohibited to pedestrians, mountain bikes and vehicles on the 4x4 track of the Pierre à Ric from 2nd May to 11th November 2018.
- The traffic will be prohibited to pedestrians, mountain bikes and vehicles on the 4x4 track between Lognan and Plan Joran from 14th May to 31st October 2018. No deviation possible (see attached map).
The installation of signaling and its maintenance will be provided by the Compagnie du Mont-Blanc.

Access to the viewpoint remains possible from the Plateau de Lognan
During the construction period, access to the Plateau de Lognan is possible by the Argentière-Lognan cable car (restricted access to the Plateau de Lognan).
