From 11th to 13th July 2018 is to take place the Climbing World Cup, one of the biggest sporting events of the year in the valley of Chamonix Mont Blanc.
Since 1999 Chamonix Valley has hosted many climbing competitions. One of them is Climbing World Cup during which the best climbers in the world come to Chamonix to compete.
According to Le Dauphine, for these three days of competition, there will be installed trampolines and a climbing wall open to all.
Movies and fireworks
On Thursday 12 July from 6 pm is the screening of the film “So High" by Pierre Cadot. Is a documentary about to the world champion climber Romain Desgranges.
The adventure was also detailed in his book with the same name recently published recently by Guérin. The illustrator of his book, Flore Beaudelin, will also be present.
Friday from 10:45 pm will be held a firework display.
