Tuesday 7 July 2018, the Chamonix Hockey Elite has officially announced the arrival of the American, Geoff Fortman (25) in the Pioneers team.

Geoff is 25 years old, with 1.85m for 89 kg. He is a strong player with a lot of experience and will play for the new season in Chamonix 2018-2019. He was born in USA (Crystal Lake).

He started to play hockey from a very young age in Chicago, as a student, he played many years with the NAHL and he won a championship with the Amarillo Bulls.
He joined the Canisius College where he was a captain, he won the championship multiple times.
The young right-handed defender will have his first European match by joining Heikki Lime's team
With his determination and experience, Geoff will be a very important player for the team.
