Kandahar 2020: The schedule has been established

After four years of absence, Kandahar, the Men's Alpine Skiing World Cup, will come back in Chamonix in 2020.

Less than a year left until the big event in Chamonix, the International Ski Federation (FIS) met in Dubrovnik and established the calendar for the Kandahar 2020.

It has been four since the last edition of Kandahar in Chamonix and ever since important work has been done to improve the famous Men's Downhill World Cup.

Earlier this year, extensive works began on the legendary black piste "La Verte des Houches".

According to fis-ski.com, the annual meeting of the International Ski Federation (FIS) was held in Dubrovnik (CRO) on the 2nd of June 2019.

Among the agenda of the meeting, the calendars of the Alpine Ski World Cup for the next two seasons were established.

In 2020, the valley will host the slalom and the parallel giant.

Then, for the 2020/2021 season, Kandahar should take place on January 30th and 31st, this time with the descent and the parallel giant.
