Finally some fresh snow after a windy week in Chamonix.
The last few days have continued windy and mild (foehn wind), until it finally snowed in the Chamonix mountains on Friday evening (rain in Chamonix town, and fresh snow above 1200m). In fact, Friday was so windy that only part of Le Tour and Les Houches could be open, but today was much better, with fresh snow, and many lifts and pistes open for skiing above Chamonix.
