Snowstorm today after the weekend rain in Chamonix!
After a lot of rain up high on Saturday and Sunday (rain up to 2600m or around the top of Bochard/Herse!!!), the weather dried off on Monday, and now it is snowing again at low altitudes all day today. This is some serious roller-coaster weather, with high winds, lots of precipitation, and a wildly yo-yo-ing freezing line since last Thursday. There is no way to tell right now, but there has to have been some seriously big snowfalls above 3000m this week.
