Chamonix Valley: Free Activities for Tourists

After eight weeks of confinement because of the coronavirus COVID-19, it is now time to enjoy and discover the Chamonix Valley, alone or with family or friends.

The Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Valley Tourist Office and its partners offer 25 free fun and cultural activities to do during the day, exclusively for people visiting the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Valley.

Free Activities for Tourists

From 13 July to 28 August 2020, Monday to Friday, the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Valley Tourist Office invites you to explore and (re)discover the Chamonix Valley!

Tourists staying in the Chamonix Valley, from Servoz to Vallorcine, are offered 25 free activities to do during the day.

The activities were chosen to appeal to everyone: thrill-seekers, nature lovers, animal lovers, sports enthusiasts, etc., regardless of their age.

These activities take place in different environments - in the air, water or on land. Also, there is a great variety of activities, such as tree-climbing, rafting, guided tours, trail initiation, and much more.

By bike, on foot or on a pony, sign up for these free activities to make the most out of every day you spend in the Chamonix valley!

Moreover, entertainment will be offered at the end of the day and in the evening, such as open-air cinema, an introduction to Zumba or a children's show.

Enjoyed alone, as a family or as a couple, these activities are bound to offer memories that will last for a lifetime.

How to Enjoy These Activities

  1. Choose your activity (within the limit of 1 activity per day and per household);
  2. Approach your host to book the activity or go to the Tourist Office with your Guest Card, which was provided to you by your host on arrival at the accommodation;
  3. You need to register before 5.00 pm the day before. You can also book in advance activities for the following days;
  4. Make sure you have all the necessary equipment. Visit the dedicated page of the activity to find out what equipment you need.
  5. Be on time at the meeting point and enjoy your activity. To reach your activity meeting point, all public transports from Servoz to Vallorcine are free of charge, with your guest card;
  6. In the case of weather uncertainty, please contact the activity provider directly. The contact details can be found on your booking confirmation.
