Covid-19 latest news: health pass

From 1st August, the health pass will be compulsory to drink a coffee or eat a salad on the terrace.

1st stage on 21 July

To see a film at the cinema, have a coffee, go on vacation and even visit the family members at the nursing homes, the sanitary pass and its QR code will become essential in our daily lives. From 21 July first, it will be required in all leisure places welcoming more than 50 people such as museums, theaters, amusement parks, cinemas. The same goes for swimming pools and sports halls. Each establishment will be required to enforce it under penalty of being fined. Customers, too, could face a fine of 135 euros.

New stage in August

From August, the health pass will be extended to long-distance transport: TGV, Intercité, internal flights, but also tourist coaches. An announcement made in the middle of leaving on vacation. To get to the restaurant, even on the terrace, you will also need to present your QR code. Also for the access to shopping centers, in which access to supermarkets has not yet been decided. On the other hand, you don't need a health pass to stay at the campsite or at the hotel, but you may be required on site to access the dining rooms and the swimming pool.
