Vallée Blanche: a skier fell into a crevasse

On Sunday 6 March 2022, at midday, a woman fell into a crevasse on the Petit Envers route in the Vallée Blanche.

The High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon (PGHM) rescued with the helicopter the 36-year-old skier. Fortunately, she had no injuries and was simply taken down and dropped off at the helicopter base in the White Desert.

According to Le Dauphiné, on the other hand, some mountain rescue operations ended with evacuations to the hospital:

On the Megève ski area, a 42-year-old woman was injured while skiing.

At Grands Montets, a 62-year-old man suffered leg injuries.

Then again in Megève, at Mont d'Arbois, a 73-year-old man suffered also a leg trauma.

Finally, on the Périades glacier, the Chamonix PGHM rescued a person on ski touring for an injury to the lower limbs.
