Lac Léman - Summit Mont Blanc, in less than 24h

This time is for good! Having delayed 2 times their departure for this second record attempt between Geneva and the summit of Mont Blanc, the time was set: Last Tuesday at 12am from St Gingolf, the 3 boys left to reach the summit of Mont Blanc on Wednesday before noon! They must pay particularly attention to weather conditions. Indeed, the summit of Mont Blanc is particularly exposed to the winds in the month of March, and temperatures drop, so far below the 0 ° C. This time the weather was favorable, they knew their time and their capacities, it allowed them to manage their effort to reach the summit of Mont Blanc. YES!!! THEY HAVE DONE IT! They are on the roof of Europe! Congratulations to Sébastien BAUD, Jean-François PREMAT and Alain PREMAT. They left yesterday at noon from St Gingolph, they arrived at the top of Mont Blanc at 11ham (23:00h of effort), after crossing the Chablais, the Valley du Giffre, the Aiguilles Rouges and climbed Mont Blanc. They had just missed it last year, they were blocked at the Refuge Vallot by strong winds. We never doubted of their success, but they had to try again this big adventure to reach the summit of Mont Blanc. And this time it's done!
