The Bread Party today at Lavancher (Chamonix)

This is the 21th edition of this 'cozy' festival of Bread, since the renovation of the oven in 1981. A renovation made by initiative of a mountain guide: Fernando Audibert. The Bread Party/festival takes place today, the 12th of August, at the Village of the Lavancher. The Oven is located in the center of the village, and once a year this oven, built in 1819, is used to make some very tasty bread (only two times during the day). The first at 11am and the second at 16:30h. In Lavancher, many people participate in this Bread celebration and the public is invited to join the party. Radio Mont Blanc
