Another paragliding accident in Chamonix

After three previous accidents in July, always in tandem flights, the crash of another paragliding instructor in Chamonix on August 4th was the worst accident of the summer. The latest news said that the passenger's life was no longer in danger but he suffered multiple fractures. However the paragliding instructor suffer more serious injuries, he was evacuated to the hospital in Grenoble. The mountain rescue gendarmerie (PGHM) has opened a preliminary inquiry to determine the causes of the accident. According with some witnesses, the pilot took off into a cloud. Le Dauphiné
