3 climbers blocked in the mountains for more than 24h

Monday around 17.00h, these three Slovak climbers reported to be lost at 4400 meters on their way to Mont Blanc. Caught in bad weather, they never reached the Vallot hut/shelter and they had to dig a hole in the snow. Only on Tuesday, thanks to better weather conditions, these three Slovak climbers were evacuated at the end of the day by two mountain rescue helicopters. Finally, one of the three climbers was victim of hypothermia and was taken to the hospital. But we must say that these climbers were lucky to escape. Radio Mont Blanc
