RN 205 is completely cut off from 5 A.M, this Wednesday morning. From Chamonix, the descent by the Route Blanche Sallanches is impossible. Tonight, small boulders fell on the road on the section that runs along the cliff. A first alarm was reported last night around 8 P.M. Then this morning around 4 A.M, new alarm and the police have decided to close the road. From Chamonix and Les Houches, the cars and other light vehicles are diverted through Servoz and Passy, to descend on Sallanches and the rest of the valley. For trucks coming from Italy, they are stopped before crossing the Mont Blanc tunnel. The trucks must pass through the tunnel of Frejus. Radio Mont Blanc
