225 million viewers for the 2011 Kandahar

The "Club des Sports de Chamonix", the organisers of the "Kandahar" downhill ski competition, have just learned their worldwide television viewing figures for last winter's competition. There were a total of 83 hours of broadcast images of the World Cup Ski Competion (29-30 January 2011), and it has been calculated that a total of 225 million people saw pictures of the Chamonix Valley and the race in Les Houches. In France, 9 million people are thought to have watched the Kandahar on TV this season. Radio Mont Blanc
