Fatal accident on Mont Blanc

This Monday, at 4300 metres, a 65 year old woman lost her footing while climbing the "Three Mount" route on the shoulder of Mont Maudit, and fell 200m. The victim was Bulgarian and was climbing alone. Witnesses to the accident called out the mountain rescue, but when the PGHM arrived, the person was already dead. It seems that the woman was not a very experienced climber.
