Ideal conditions for spring skiing!

Good news: in recent days, 20 to 30 cm of snow has fallen at 2000m in the northern Alps. And with falling temperatures, conditions are now ideal for skiing. But beware of the risk of avalanche... According to "France Montagnes", the organisation that promotes French ski resorts, 70% of ski areas are open: 75% of the Northern Alps & 60% of the Southern Alps. The average snowfall is 50 cm at the bottom of the slopes and 1.40 m at the top. In addition, there is availability in all stations, which are now competing with promotions and other special offers. Val Thorens and Tignes will stay open until May 8th, and in "Les Deux Alpes", thanks to the glacier of Mont-de-Lans, skiers can take advantage of good conditions until April 28.
