Open Doors Day of PGHM Chamonix

The open doors day of PGHM Chamonix (mountain rescue) will take place this Saturday, June 16, 2012, at the Drop Zone (DZ) of the Bois in Chamonix Mont Blanc, between 10am and 6pm. Take this opportunity to find out all the aspects of the profession of mountain rescuer, meet the police rescuers, doctors, pilots, mechanics and all our partners ... The helicopters from the PGHM, from the CMBH and civil security will make two aerial demonstrations (at 10am and 2pm) Following these demonstrations, several exercises on the ground will be proposed to the public. Also enjoy visiting partner mountain rescue booths throughout the day. This day is open to the children as the adults. Come! Free entrance! Bar and snacks. NOTE: For parking: The road to the DZ will be closed for the occasion. We advise you to park at the parking lot of the Flégère cable car. A bus (mulet) will carry out several shuttles (free) during the day.
