World "Sky Running" Championships 2014 may take place in Chamonix

After the huge success of competitions such as the "Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc" and the "Marathon du Mont Blanc", Chamonix will now be bidding to host the World "Sky Running" Championships in 2014. In 2013, Chamonix will have the opportunity to organize a round of the World Cup "Sky Running" race, consisting of a vertical kilometre and a marathon. Results of the bid will be announced shortly.
