A Dinosaur in the Heart of Chamonix!

Hannibal and his Elephants? Or just a small animal invasion? Yesterday afternoon, in the "Place du Poilu", the shape of an Italian dinosaur slowly began to emerge. Thanks to Courmayeur, Chamonix's twin town in Italy, Chamonix is installing a ten metre high prehistoric reptile in resin, that was previously part of an exhibition in Courmayeur called "In the footsteps of dinosaurs". The giant herbivore can now be seen calmly grazing in the flowerbeds of the "Place du Poilu" until next January. And whoever said that Chamoniards don't enjoy "art nouveau"?
