Monday, 24th August 2015. Ultra Trail du Mont-Blanc 2015, the iconic running adventure starts today with PTL® (La Petite Trotte à Léon), a team ultra endurance race. New records to set and beautiful performances to enjoy!
7 valleys, 71 glaciers, 400 summits and thousands of international competitors ready for the most expected summer challenge!
PTL® starts today in Chamonix Centre at 5:30pm. This is more than a race, it's a team challenge that allows you to discover while trail running the most beautiful sites, the most inaccessible, the most engaging passages along the high paths of the Mont-Blanc massif. 250 runners waiting for for their start time and 142 hours to complete the loop. It's up to each of them to write their own story.
From 24 till 30 August 2015, 5 remarkable races will take place in Chamonix valley (PTL®, TDS®, OCC, CCC®, UTMB®). Check out the UTMB's full program. If you want follow the races, you can find all the tools available to you for following on www.ultratrailmb.com.
During the week, all the important moments will be broadcast on www.ultratrail.tv. The most beautiful passages of the route will be presented and commented. Starting lines and the arrival of race leaders will have a bilingual commentary (English/French). So, don't miss the years biggest trail running event!
