Aurelien Ducroz ends freeride skiing career!

The decision has been made public! Aurélien Ducroz put away the competition skis. For the last ten years the Chamoniard has been travelling around the world, skiing at the highest level. During these years of competition, he won almost everything:
- Two world championship titles: 2009 and 2011
- A runner-up: 2005
- Four 3rd places: 2004, 2007, 2008 and 2012

At the final of the 2013 FWT in Verbier, on the Bec des Rosses, Aurélien Ducroz officially announced that he would not participate in FWT 2014.

Aurélien will now devote himself to freeride ski film projects and he wants to prioritize a new career as a yatch skipper. This year, he plans to compete in the  Transat Jacques Vabre. The race starts November 3rd at Le Havre (France).

He also confirms that the medium-term objectives are: the "Route du Rhum" in 2014, and the Vendée Globe 2016, a solo race around the world, nonstop and unassisted, 24 000 miles on a 60 foot boat. These are Aurelian Ducroz's projects and ambitions. Good luck!
