The Museum of Alpinisme "de pointe", on the summit of the Aiguille du Midi (Chamonix Mont-Blanc), opened June 11th 2013.
A special place, an original idea... The Aiguille du Midi is the starting point for many mountain climbs, including, of course, the legendary climb of Mont Blanc by the three Monts.
Many famous climbers have left their mark here, and this museum pays tribute to these inventive and daring adventurers.
The museum is the highest in the world, at an altitude of 3777meters, with a theme of the "vanguard" mountain climbing.
