New cable cars for the Aiguille du Midi
The Aiguille du Midi, closed at the moment for maintenance work, is set to open on Saturday, December 20th with new cable cars to all lovers of high altitude!
Since 2011, the CMB has launched a vast program of investment and modernization of its installations to ensure a better service and the maximum safety for all its clients.
The Step into the Void, the highest attraction in Europe, owned and operated by the CMB is also a part of the targeted improvement. On the 31th March 2015, a second lift inside the rock at the summit of the Aiguille du Midi will begin service. This will radically improve access to the top platform where the amazing glass room "Step into the Void' is located.
