Cédric Amafroi-Broisat at the 2014 Winter Paralympics

Cédric Amafroi-Broisat - one of the top parasport athletes from Club Sports Chamonix, has been selected to participate in the 2014 Sochi Paralympic Winter Games.

The 2014 Sochi Paralympic Winter Games succeed the 2014 Olympic Winter Games. The Games will take place from 7 to 16 March 2014.

More than 1,650 athletes from over 45 countries compete in 5 disciplines of Winter Paralympics program: Alpine Skiing (including para-snowboarding program), Biathlon, Cross-Country Skiing, Ice sledge Hockey and Wheelchair Curling.

Cédric Amafroi-Broisat is one of the top parasport athletes from Club Sports Chamonix and has been selected for the French team delegation to participate in the 2014 Sochi Paralympic Winter Games.

Cedric is one of the most experienced athletes on the international circuit of alpine skiing. His prize list includes the gold medal at IPC Alpine Skiing World Cup (2001-2002), five gold medals at different IPC Alpine Skiing Euro Cups, the bronze medal at 2013 IPC Alpine Skiing World Championship.

With four previous appearances at the Paralympics; Nagano in 1998, Salt Lake City in 2002, Turin in 2006 and Vancouver in 2010, Cédric has more appearances in the Paralympic Games than any other Chamoniard athlete.
