The Bar Barberousse in Chamonix is again open since March 2017. After a decision from the Tribunal Administratif de Grenoble, the bar has reopned its doors again to the public.
The Rum Bar "Le Barberousse" in Chamonix, located at 17 montée Jacques Balmat, has been closed by municipal order, for non-compliance with the safety standards: not enough emergency exits.
According to Radio Mont-Blanc, after several inspections and warnings since June 2015, the bar owner has not done work for compliance with the law.
So, the Chamonix town hall has issued a municipal order stating the administrative closure of the bar establishment until further notice.
