Mangus League Quarter Finals Chamonix 12 March 2013
It went down to the wire! After three QF pay-offs, there was no clear winner. By the end of the forth match between Chamonix and Epinal, still no winner......... the two teams went head to head for the fifth and final time, on Tuesday 12 March in a 'winner takes all' decider.
Chamonix had the home advantage and the pre-match tension surged into combat on ice. At the final whistle, Epinal clinched the victory 3-5, and now they go through to meet Angers in the Semi-Finals.
Good luck to them and well done to the resurgent Chamonix Chamois for reaching the play-offs! This team is improving and we are looking forward to a great 2013-14 season!
