Due to difficult circulation conditions, the authorities recommend extra caution when driving. Mandatory Winter Equipment!
The D1506 road over the Col des Montets is closed temporary due to avalanche defense activities. Traffic closed starting from 7:30 am to 8:30 am.
Access is possible via the railway (and road) tunnel, which is open to traffic. Passage through the tunnel is regulated by an automated barrier ensuring 100m separation between vehicles.
Power to the third rail is cut while road vehicles use the tunnel.
